Haven’t made them in awhile but…steak fries.
Use red or white skinned potatoes (not russet). Rinse and scrub, slice into wedges skins-on. Shake up with a little olive oil (veg. oil works too), add some seasoning(like seasoned salt or chipotle style for some spice). Spread out on baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for approx. 20-30 minutes and stir a couple times for even browning. I have not actually timed my cooking of these…
I’ve also done this with sweet potatoes when they are cheap and in season; however, watch them because they tend to cook quickly on thin edges. Maybe cut them more square-like; like regular fries.
Also, I like these with just salt and pepper for seasoning.
